I am selling my bike, a cool looking shiny black Aprilia Habana Retro 50cc. It is one of the quickest scooter in the 50cc category, can easily do 60mph (around 90-95 km/h)!
A reliable little runner, extremely cheap to maintain, road tax is £15/year, my annual insurance premium was below £100, no congestion charge, cat. B license is enough to drive it - what else would you need in London?
Imagine zooming past cars in the middle of traffic jams, getting to work in no time, saving hundreds of hours a year compared to public transport.
It is the ideal choice for anyone living in a big city.

MOT valid until May 2010, tax until December 2009. (Both very cheap to renew)
The bike has been regularly serviced, both by previous owner and myself. I've spent around £500 on it in the last 3 years so you can be assured that the 17,550 km (10,900 mi) won't be a big deal.
New parts recently installed (I've still got the paperwork for most of them):
CDI Unit, Rear brake, Spark plugs, Gear oil, Front tyre, Front brake, Belt, Bearings, New battery, Rear tyre, Plug cap, Speedo cable, Rollers,
Please note:
The reason for the advantageous (i.e. extremely low) price is that the bike has been recently broken into.
It can't be started by key because the bastards broke the ignition barrel.
You'll need the following to restore it:
1. New ignition barrel (costs around £40 online or £60 at the official dealer)
2. Front panel (I'm sure you can get one from eBay quite cheap)
3. Around 1.5 hours of labour
4. If you can't pick it up a pick up fee (£35 within London)
This bike is worth around £850-900 considering all new parts put into it, so I think it is a fair price - even if you add the items above to the current price you make a very-very good deal.
You might think why I'm selling if it can be fixed easily? The answer is simple: I'm moving out of the country soon and would have sold it anyway in a couple of months. Now I can't devote much time and energy to it.
If you have any queries or want to see the bike (it's parked in Central London) please email or give me a call on 078 5622 1346.
I can arrange for transport to any destination in the country - contact me for details.
