Job title: AutoCad Technician

Rate: £18 – 22phr

Our Client is seeking a hard working CAD Technician to support their Highway Engineering and Traffic team in producing high quality, accurate drawing designs for a variety of different clients.

Accountabilities
• To produce accurate and quality drawings using AutoCAD.
• To work from briefs and mark ups from engineers.
• To work as part of a team and keep Team Leader informed of work progress.
• To manage working on a range of projects to ensure deadlines are met.
• To file drawings correctly and tidily as per local procedures.
• To communicate issues/problems back to engineers as they occur, and work proactively to see problems and discuss them with engineers.

Requirements: ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
• AutoCAD continual use up to version 2005.
• Civil/Highways design experience, inc: Traffic Calming, Junction Improvement, general public sector highways projects.
• Good working knowledge of Windows XP & File Management.
• Knowledge of TSRGD Regulations.

Requirements (Desirable)
• Knowledge of AutoSign (KeySign), AutoTrack, KeySignals.
• Knowledge of Graphics editing packages, e.g. Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Mapinfo.
