Creative Writing for Complete Beginners
Planning, Structuring and Editing Short Stories
Saturday 14th November: How to plan, structure and edit Short Stories.
Ever thought about putting pen to paper, but didn’t know where to start?
This friendly, supportive workshop reveals and explains important principles of writing and structuring short stories. The session is aimed at allowing you to start writing short stories, though the same ideas are also useful to those with an interest in writing personal experience and novels.
The workshop is led by experienced creative writing mentor N Quentin Woolf, and includes some practical, hands-on elements alongside teaching and discussion, in a relaxed atmosphere.
Alongside the central topics there will be tips on developing the creative habit and other aspects of creative writing. There will also be opportunities to discuss areas of creative writing that are of particular interest to you.
