We are a small cafe in Blackfriars London. We cook all the food we serve ourselves and are very proud of our standards. We open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and serve breakfast and lunch and provide all our own cakes and pastries. Our web site is Hilliardfood@aol.co.uk

We need a relief chef during November to cover holidays. The person needs to be responsible for pastry section ,cakes / tarts / traybakes /granola/ cake orders etc for one week to cover holiday. After this the person we are looking for needs to be able to cover the savoury section of our kitchen to cover different holiday leave. This involves preparing one main dish each day, three different salads, different soup, cooking meats for sandwiches, preparing terrines, sauces, ordering and ensuring the kitchen is clean and maintained.

You need to be able to work on your own area of responsibility as well as with a team. You need to have a can -do attitude.

Salary will depend on experience.
Hours are 7am to 3pm monday to Friday
