This role has become available due to the present teacher returning to Australia in December after two years at the school.

She is going to be sorely missed and the school are looking for an equally affable and competent teacher of Maths to step into her shoes.

The department is well organised and the present head of English has been there for 6 years. All the schemes of work are in place and it is an environment where you will be able to focus on your teaching.

The role is to teach up to KS4 with two GCSE classes - they teach the English to GCSE and for this role there is no A-level teaching as the school is purely an 11-16 environment.

There are two Australians currently in the dept and a number at the school. It has a very welcoming feel to the place and in terms of grades it achieved 82% Pass (A-C) in Maths last year.
