Design and Technology Technician required for a Secondary School
A fantastic opportunity exists for a Design & Technology Technician at a London based Secondary School.
The school is adaptable as to whether the successful applicant will be employed on either a long term supply basis or a permanent contract so they're willing to display flexibility for the right candidate. This position is to start asap.
The role's duties include:
a) Preparing equipment and materials for lessons
b) Supervising pupils whilst using machinery
c) Equipmant maintenance and upkeep
d) Demonstrating techniques when using wood, metal, plastics and fabrics
e) Demonstrate Computer Aided Design
f) Stock regulation including ordering of materials
g) Health and Safety checks
The school itself is vibrant, innovative and enterprising and growing from strength to strength, experiencing success across a whole range of achievements.
