Aloe Aristata (£2)

One aloe aristata plant seen in the picture. Other names for this plant are lace aloe and torch plant.

The plant originally from africa is a tight rosette of succulent green leaves covered in tiny white spikes. It may grow to a farily large size and produces young rosettes which may be removed and potted on. It produces a tall spike of small orange flowers in the summer.

The plant likes bright light and direct sun. may be placed outside in the summer. Keep almost dry in the winter but water freely in the summer. Overwatering will cause the plant to rot.

Feed every two weeks in the summer with weak cactus fertilizer.

The plant which is 6 inches in diameter may be sent by post bare rooted on receipt of advance payment by Postal Order together with an additional £3.00 towards post and packing.
