This vibrant, European-Style Brasserie located in the West End, London is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join their professional team.
Offering A La Carte & Plat du Jour Menus – all dishes are freshly prepared sourcing seasonal ingredients from quality suppliers & Local producers.
Catering for 160 – 250 covers per Lunch/Dinner service, this stylish 120 cover Brasserie is open from Monday to Sunday attracting a varied and discerning Clientele.
**************************************Role
Supporting the Head Chef, you will play an integral part in all areas of Kitchen Management.
**************************************Responsibilities:
Menu Planning & Costing
Running the Kitchen in the Head Chef's Absence
Stock Control: Orders, Deliveries, Stock Counting, Wastage Control
Chef Training & Development, Briefings & Tastings
Hygiene Records & Procedures, Cleaning Rosters
**************************************Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong experience and skills gained in quality Restaurant and/or Gastro operations with knowledge of French/European cuisine an advantage.
Naturally organised with the ability to multi-task, you will be able to work well under pressure and on your own initiative, enjoying a busy kitchen environment, menu planning and team training.
Strong on Due Diligence, you will also be up to date on current Hygiene Legislation.

Working Hours: 5 days (3 Splits & 2 Straight Shifts)
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
