This inspiring Geography department that currently consist of four teachers urgently requires a well-qualified specialist of Geography to join the team due to the current teacher returning home to South Africa. The school is an 11-18 co-educational specialist training school located within close proximity to the tube, train and is easily accessible for commuters that drive.

You will be required to teach Geography exclusively at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, although teaching at KS 5 is not essential. Geography is taught in designated rooms in the department which are all equipped with interactive whiteboards and DVD players. The department is well resourced with a range of textbooks, video’s, whiteboard software and visual resources.

Students study a range of topics at a variety of scales to broaden their knowledge and understanding of different places and issues in the world. Teaching is taken that one step further as what is taught in the classroom is taken out in the open air with many outdoor teaching excursions, enabling the students to put theory into practice.
