Exciting new handbag brand Suki Shufu is looking to recruit the expertise of an experienced and well-qualified individual to assist with the development of a new collection with a view to launch for SS11.

The candidate will ideally possess 3 + years direct experience in handbag production and product development. Must be experienced in working with overseas factories, compiling costing and production tech sheets, and sourcing.

The ideal candidate would have existing contacts within the handbag industry for materials and factories and must be knowledgeable in all technical aspects of handbag design and production.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a reliable and focused work ethic are all essential to fulfill this role. Fluent English is also essential. Possibility of international travel.

The position will be initially on a freelance/consulting basis with the prospect to become a part time or full time position as the business grows.

Working hours will be varied and flexibility on location will be required as the business currently operates at a residential address.
