The cottages are all well spaced out and sit in a large, secure garden of about an acre which contains an above ground swimming pool and orchard with plenty of off-road parking. A very short drive or walk down the road brings you to the beautiful lakes of the Haute-Charente which has something for everyone including beaches, bars, restaurants, walking trails, cycling routes and horse-riding paths. There is also a Nautical Base which hires out various equipment such as catamarans, canoes and windsurfs etc. There are lots of places of interest in the area; local markets, towns of historical interest, an adventure park, go-karting, horseriding and much more. Both Limoges and Angouleme are under an hour’s drive for airports and train stations and Poitiers is reachable within an hour and a half.

The renovation project of the main house is on-going and this will either be finished before completion of the sale or used for price-negotiation for interested purchasers.
