Full time live out Nanny required for 8 month old girl from Jan 2010 North London N8

Summary:

We are looking for a bright, outgoing, energetic and caring Nanny to look after our baby daughter who will be 8 months old in January. We are busy people with demanding jobs. As such the successful candidate will need to be flexible, able to show initiative and an excellent communicator. In the future, we may consider a nanny share, and ideally would like to find a nanny who is open to this. In return we will offer a competitive salary dependent on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be expected to take some holidays to coincide with ours.

We are being relocated from overseas back to our home in Crouch End at short notice. My husband will be looking for work in London immediately on our return. The role will therefore be joint charge with him initially, moving to sole charge as soon as he finds work.

Start Date:

We are looking for someone to start in January, however we can be flexible around start dates within reason.

Summary of Responsibilities:

* Caring for our 8 month old daughter from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility on times may be required occasionally

* Encouraging development of her social, physical, creative and intellectual skills through play and organised activities

* Promoting self confidence and good manners

* Cooking healthy nutritious food for our baby

* Washing and ironing baby clothes and keeping the nursery tidy

* Babysitting one Saturday night each month and occasional other times by mutual agreement

* Delivering all the above with lots of games, laughs, smiles and positivity to help us create a fun and happy environment in which our daughter can thrive


Personal characteristics / Experience required:

* Experience of looking after babies from 6 months onwards

* Experience of looking after more than 1 baby in case we consider a nanny share in future

* 2 checkable references

* Fluent English

* CRB check

* First aid

* Valid UK work visa essential

* Must be non smoker

* Childcare qualifications desirable

* Ofsted registration desirable

Interview process:-
