A growing Digital Brand Consultancy is on the hunt for an Digital Account Director. This agency is growing at an alarming rate and is gaining a very well respected reputation.

KEY OBJECTIVES / RESPONSIBILITIES


• Build strong and profitable client relationships
• Establish the style of management and direction of the account
• Ensure gross margin and profit in line with agency objectives and look for ways to improve GP
• Maintaining and developing agency relationship with client which enables effective and profitable campaigns
• Act as a partner to clients in marketing strategy
• Tight budget control of client activity, agree and manage budgets, maintain profit targets.
• Manages the engagement and delivery of client projects to timeline, budget and quality in conjunction with project teams
• Ability to write both strategic and tactical proposals, through awareness of and trends in relevant market sectors
 Maintains and updates sales forecasts, manages financial reporting of the team’s performance and works to company Gross Profit targets;
 Provides strategic advise to key group accounts, securing opportunities to charge for value-added consultancy to support the delivery of the clients channel development and marketing programmes;
• Has ultimate responsibility for the development of the value of client business under management, the quality of all client deliverables and the ongoing development of the business
• Manages the development of insight, data and research in key account industry sectors, ensures client work meets best in class industry standards and maintains thought leadership position with senior client contacts
• Presentation skills to gain client confidence and business.
• Utilising facilities within the agency on client business as a first stop and then, through market awareness, developing third party suppliers to bring added value
• Develops new business opportunities to grow existing client business, working closely with the Partners/MD
• Conduct formal account reviews every 6 months with board/top management and client


CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

• Agency experience at Account Management level
• Proven track record of successful client management and account development
• Strong leadership skills - proven track record of effective personnel/team motivation and management
• Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
• Inspiring Presentation Skills
• Ability to work on own initiative, having an entrepreneurial attitude
• Ability to capture the essence of a brief and communicate this with clarity and vision to the internal team
• Confident in carrying out a variety of tasks simultaneously – ie strategic and hands on
• Creative approach to problem solving
• Understanding of web/internet builds, digital marketing, campaign planning, web technology, creative design, brand awareness and new innovations in the digital marketplace
• Commercial awareness and business acumen
• Some experience of working across time zones / with international clients would be beneficial
• Adaptable with a good sense of humour
• Exposure to new business development desirable
• Experience of presenting essential
