One Step Ahead Ltd is a small yet growing company that presently primarily focuses on the modelling industry. However, we are on the verge of launching into the omnipresent UK student market. To his end, we’re looking for an imaginative, vibrant and hard working individual to represent our public face which you can execute from home in your spare time. No doubt, you must relish a challenge as we’ll be partly relying on you to not only ensure our public face is always positive but more importantly, that our positive image is sustained vigorously.

The task essentially will see you handling all the online PR and guerrilla marketing for our various online divisions which currently number 3 but will stretch to 4 by Christmas. As far as the marketing aspect goes, it will include (but not necessarily restricted to) the devising of….

• Promotions that rely on time, energy and imagination rather than a big marketing budget;
• Unconventional marketing or stunts designed to attract maximum attention;
• Using of face book to spread word-of-mouth advertising

The PR aspect will include….

• Regularly tracking all online forums and checking for any negative posts and in doing so, post a greater amount of positive posts so as to not put off prospective clients;
• Being proactive as well and in doing so, strategically and regularly post upbeat and assured posts to encourage clients

Most probably what makes this position the most challenging yet exciting is that you can do it from home and in your spare time but only as long as you do an excellent job a seasoned marketer would be proud of. Naturally, you’ll need to have powerful Internet access at home and be very good at communicating. The role would be best be suited to a relatively recently graduated student with an interest in marketing and PR but anyone looking for the extra income and experience is welcome to apply as we place emphasis on ability and results more than anything else.
