3 rooms left in a 4000 sq ft live work warehouse conversion project in Manor House (£500 pcm)
Three rooms left so get in quick!
I’m Ollie, 27 yrs, an actor with a lot of building skills and then there’s Jim same age with loads of project management experience. We’re old friends, both have worked in the creative industries and have been keen on this project for a long time – to create an eclectic live/ work home. We’ve got an architect on board (paying him in beer) and three other paid up ‘ware’house mates.
The space is a former warehouse near Manor House Tube. Its 4000 sq ft, which we are converting into a live/ work environment for 8 people – maybe with a few rooms for guests and short-lets. The space is raw and the project is right at the beginning so whoever comes on board can shape how the space is developed. The plan would be to host all the well sized double bedrooms upstairs, with the main downstairs area being split between a live lounge, kitchen, bathroom arrangement and work area for artists, musicians or who ever wants to fill it. A kitchen and bathroom are already installed and can be expanded easily.
This is a project which needs other people to help us grow. We are going to take on the rent of the property ourselves and then sublet the space, with the landlord’s agreement, to the rest of the tenants (this seems the most cost effective system).
We’ve already got a load of lads interested, so ideally we’re looking for some girls to join the project but we're not exclusive.
In terms of timing we’re moving in at the start of December. The rent, approximately £500 pcm, will include everything (bills, building material and rent) and we need £500 as deposit.
