Yoga helps physical and mental well-being and can be practiced by anyone regardless of age or flexibility. It calms the mind, relieves stress, tones the muscles, builds strength, flexibility, stamina and balance, stimulates the circulation and can improve overall health. Mixed ability class; BEGINNERS WELCOME!
This class is based on the Iyengar method, developed by yoga master BKS Iyengar, one of the world's leading yogis, and focuses on precision, alignment and safety in each posture. The postures practiced in this class cover the basic positions of standing, sitting, forward-bends, twists, inversions, back bends and lying down. There is relaxation at the end of each class. With the use of props the postures can be held more easily, without strain.
Qualified and experienced Iyengar teacher, member of the Iyengar Yoga Teachers Association.
£7 per class when paying for eight classes or £8 pay as you go.
