Sia Security Training Classes, Southall
The SIA recognised National Certificate for Door Supervisors/Security Guard will enable you to apply to the SIA for a Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence and by obtaining this SIA licence you will increase your employment opportunities.
A 30 hour intensive course which includes participatory exercise, group and individual activities. The course syllabus will not only provide you with the basic knowledge needed to pass the exams, our SIA qualified instructor will also demonstrate to you the real life practicalities of being a Door Supervisor or Security Guard, so that when you eventually start work you will feel much more confident in your new role.

Unit 1:

• Code of conduct
• Equal opportunities
• Crime prevention
• Drugs
• Health and Safety
• Emergency procedures
Unit 2:
• Introduction to communication and conflict management
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Self-awareness
• Recognising and defusing conflict
• Avoiding Conflict
• Defusing high risk conflict
• Resolving Conflict
• Learning from Conflict
No formal qualification is required
