It's a mid-afternoon or early evening as you watch her sitting alone in a hotel bar when a good-looking, well-dressed guy walks past, engages her in some small-talk and asks to sit down. She's slightly disconcerted, but disarmed by his easy manner she doesn't want to seem unfriendly so agrees. She's fiddling in her handbag, wondering why he didn't just grab the next table, and he's checking his phone and settling himself, but the moment of discomfort passes, and soon they're chatting - two people sharing a few polite words and nothing more. Or is there? Did his hand just brush her arm? Did his foot touch hers accidentally? Why did he seem to be whispering something to her?

And now they're both getting up to leave. They're making their way to the lifts and heading upstairs. Do you wait here for an hour or so until she returns, all the time wondering, imagining, what they're up to? Or do you follow them up, knock at the door and slip in quietly behind them? Perhaps you want to watch, perhaps join in.
