Media Campaign Manager required by Email Marketing Company
A young and dynamic email marketing company based near Farringdon is urgently seeking a Media Campaign Manager.
This is a great entry level role into the marketing industry. However, the role is very challenging and varied and you will need to be able to work on your own inititative, as well as in a team.
Previous email marketing experience would be beneficial, but we will consider proactive candidates who have HTML editing experience, as training will be given.
Salary will be between £20 - 25k (depending on experience)

The Media Campaign Manager is ultimately responsible for co-ordinating email campaigns and lead generation on behalf of our Media customers.
Campaign Management duties
- Managing the data/records, campaign setup, broadcasting and providing reports for campaigns
- Communicating changes and updates between the client and the suppliers
- Carrying out data interrogation to ensure that it is as clean as possible before broadcasting
- Setting up the creative in the relevant email platform
- Carrying out tests of the creative to make sure that it displays correctly and amending it if it doesn’t
- Testing the delivery of the campaign to the major ISP’s and troubleshooting any problems
- Dispatching a test to the supplier and getting their approval before broadcasting the campaign
- Carrying out reporting using the “stats calculator” and send these reports to the client
Lead Generation duties
- Liaising with the approved data suppliers, e.g. ipoints, E-Circle etc in order to get the best data at the most competitive rate
- Creating the lead generation instance
- Approving the display or email creative
- Reporting and supplying the data to the clients
- Troubleshooting any problems that occur
Deliverability duties
All the following are done in conjunction with other members of the Deliverability Team.
- Carrying out whitelisting on behalf of our customers
- Investigating and resolving customer deliverability issues
- Staying up to date with deliverability developments with regards to best practise
- Managing the manual unsubscribe process via FBL’s and Spamcop etc- Attending the weekly deliverability meetings
Providing cover for other Operational roles
Aside from carrying out their own duties, the Campaign Manager may be asked to provide holiday or sickness cover for the Support Analyst and the Campaign Analyst roles.
Support Analyst cover
- To ensure that our customers can quickly and easily raise issues with systems or services that we provide.
- Additionally, it’s the responsibility of the Support Analyst, alongside with the Account Manager, to ensure that the customer’s issues are resolved thoroughly and quickly.
-The Campaign Manager will be trained to provide cover within the first 3 months of employment.
Campaign Analyst cover
- The Campaign Analyst is responsible for working with customers and taking ownership of their email campaigns to ensure that the customer’s aims and requirements are fulfilled.
- The Campaign Manager will be trained in to provide basic cover within the first 6 months of employment.
