My client, an internationally reknowned television company, based in West London, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their busy team to cover maternity leave.

£19 per hour

Duties include:
Preparation of Quarterly VAT returns and monthly PAYE/NI submission.
• Review of Payroll reports and inputting monthly Payroll journal.
• Co-ordinating monthly financial reviews for departments with exception reporting for key variances.
• Responsibility for reconciliation and preparation of all Balance Sheet accounts.
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset ledgers and schedules.
• Liaising with various Project Managers/Teams to ensure correct accounting of Project costs.
• Production of Headcount report for Group submission.
• To assist and support the Finance Manager, in the development of part-qualified staff in Finance Team.
• Reporting monthly on financial issues and outcomes relating to programmes and projects on a timely basis.
• Supporting strategic business planning processes, providing accurate financial information throughout the business planning process and during Departmental reviews.
• Working with the Auditors; Group Compliance and Finance Team to support audit processes and to implement audit recommendations.
• Provide monthly and ad hoc transaction reports to departmental managers/ Group to enable regular and accurate monitoring
