THE YOGA PRACTICE is hosting a very special weekend workshop for all those interested in engaging in A WEEKEND OF MEDITATION to bring about inner calm, feel more centred and more able to cope with life.

The principle teacher, Peter Bligh, originates from New Zealand and has over thirty years experience living, working and teaching in ashrams in India, Sri Lanka, Greece and Wales where he was manager at Mandala Yoga Ashram for four years. He is currently entering the ninth month of meditation at the Bodhi Zendo Buddhist centre in India where he is sitting daily between 4 and 11 hours as well as teaching others the practical and profound benefits of yoga for the practice of meditation.

Peter teaches from the heart, combining humour with his own personal experience, to inspire new comers as well as long term practitioners, in a practical rather than theoretical approach to meditation.

By combining meditation with others aspects of yoga those attending will be able to take away practical and useful tools for contacting their inner-selves and developing their own self-awareness, rather than conflicting theories or complicated practices.

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September 2008
10.00 am till 4.00 pm both days

Fees: £64 for a single day and £108 for both days.
We strongly recommend attending both days to gain the fullest benefit from the teachings.
Places are limited and to secure a place please forward a cheque for 50% of the fee payable to “Turiya Gough” at 28 Borough Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT2 6BD, confirming the date(s) that you wish to attend. If the workshop is over-subscribed we will allocate places on a first-come basis and return any surplus deposit cheques.

Anyone suffering financial hardship will be considered on a donation basis.
