Our clients are all active adults who have a disability but are quite able to live independently with the help of their live-in carer. They enjoy a busy and sociable lifestyle and we are always careful to match our carers with our clients so that they have similar interests and get on well together.




ONE OF OUR CURRENT VACANCIES:

We are currently looking for an experienced live-in carer for a client of ours who lives in his own home in Hertfordshire just north of London. The ideal carer would be someone who is energetic and considerate, who is able to motivate without being pushy. This client has a great sense of humour and attends a day centre several days a week. He requires a carer who has some mental health experience and who also has experience in using hoists. In his spare time the client loves to watch TV, use his computer and likes to meet up with friends. He also has a friendly dog so applicants with a love of animals would be preferred. It is also important that the successful applicant is a confident driver as this client gets out and about a lot.

Duties in this position include some personal care, keeping the client’s affairs clean and tidy, some cooking, and accompanying the client when he goes out.




HERE’S WHAT YOU GET WITH ENA:
