Hilt aims to help adults with a learning disabilities in East London to live independently in the community.

We currently have vacancies suitable for both males and females.

We need volunteers who can:
- live in shared housing with the people we support, spending at least 5 nights per week sleeping at the shared house
- volunteer up to 35 hours per week covering a variety of shifts
- support people in different ways, such as with cooking or social and leisure activities (e.g. going to the cinema, playing sport or visit friends)
- be available for 6-12 months
- work well with people
- speak good conversational English

We provide:
- accommodation (with bills included)
- weekly allowance to cover costs of food and travel card
- induction, support and regular supervision
- ongoing training

We also have opportunitites for part-time volunteers - you would need to live locally and be able to offer a few hours support each week.
