ABOUT THE JOB
Origin is a unique live-in care service provider, working exclusively for people with spinal injuries who want to live independently in their own home. Origin’s clients are neither ill nor old – many work full time, some are active sports men and women and all are determined that a spinal injury (often as a result of an accident) will not prevent them getting on with busy, independent lifestyles.

In order for them to achieve their independence, Origin clients need the support of a Personal Care Assistant to do some of the everyday things that able bodied people might take for granted .You may need to get your client ready for work before driving them to their office; shop for food for dinner; prepare an evening meal; vacuum and tidy up the home. There are of course social activities to be included eg trips to the cinema, visits to family and nights out with friends....so lots going on.

Origin Personal Care Assistants are NOT self employed so things like tax codes and payments are sorted for you. With a strong support team both in the office and out in the field Origin Personal Care Assistants can concentrate on delivering the highest standards of care and achieve the greatest job satisfaction in knowing they truly ‘make a difference’.

ABOUT YOU
To apply you must:
• Hold a full driving licence
• Hold a valid UK working permit or be from EU
• Speak good conversational English
• Be aged 21 – 40 years
