I’m a fully qualified teacher with an experience of teaching the Polish language at all levels. I work for the Polish Saturday School in London, and I currently teach Polish as a Foreign Language to English speakers privately.

During my teaching I focus on communication and pronunciation skills, but I also find writing, reading, grammar (in use) and listening skills very important. From the very beginning I use Polish e.g. giving instruction (but I translate it into English giving students time to feel comfortable with a new language). Gradually I use only Polish and encourage my students to speak Polish.

I provide my students any learning materials. I use various books, cd-s, newspapers and magazines, which I hope make lessons interesting.
Additionally I use CD-player for listening exercises.

My favourite HURRA text - book, recommended by the Socrates, is organised in the way, that students can find out grammar rules by themselves. They are surprised - the rules are not as difficult as they had thought and - what's more - they are very logical.

This is a general view about my teaching. I suggest meeting to see how things will go. After one lesson you will be sure if you are or are not satisfied with my methods.
