Want to run miles when you hear the word charity? Great! Sandblast wants you to do just that, in the desert, for refugees.
Join us for the trip of a life-time: run the Sahara Marathon, experience the legendary desert hospitality of the Saharawi people in exile, learn their story and culture and help raise £50,000 for Sandblast to give them a voice through the arts.
You can join a 5km 10km, half or full marathon. But the trip is not simply about
running. For a week you will be hosted by a Saharawi refugee family, where you will have the chance to learn their story and experience the legendary hospitality of a forgotten desert people in exile.

Sandblast is a London-based charity working to give the Saharawi people a voice through the arts. Close to 200.000 Saharaqis are refugees in the harsh Algerian desert. They fled their homeland of Western Sahara when it was invaded by Morroco in 1975.
