RNLD for Residential Home in idyllic Guernsey

Our client has a 5 bedroom residential home for adults with learning disabilities and is looking for an experienced, compassionate Deputy Manager to assist the Manager with the running of the home as well as supporting 6 other residents in their own home.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified RNLD with good experience to move into a management role. You will be coordinating the care for the residents as well as ensuring they live as independently as possible. The role requires an individual with excellent communication, leadership and motivational skills.

Along with an attractive remuneration and orientation package the Health and Social Services Department awards a retention bonus of £1,000 bonus after one year and an extra £3,500 after two years. A further retention payment of £757 pa pro rata will be paid each February. NMC subscriptions will also be reimbursed.

A five-year fixed-term housing licence will be available to those wishing to rent or buy their own property. Alternatively, single subsidised accommodation can be provided.

You must be a qualified RNLD with a valid NMC pin and have CPD to Diploma level in teaching/mentoring. The successful applicant will take on the role of NVQ Assessor. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Work permits are not available.
