My client, a well known recruitment company is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team controlling their biggest ledger (up to £10 mil). The successful candidate will be a dedicated, motivated and outgoing Credit Controller who will spend 90% their day on the phone to the companies key clients.

Temp to Perm- £12 per hour / £25k

Duties include;

High volume outgoing calls to chase and reduce outstanding debt and reduce debtor days
Confirming payment of invoices via telephone & e-mail with clients
Interact with Consultants for escalation of issues (Must have excellent communication skills & ability to speak to people on all levels).
Implement credit policy
Utilise finance packages to ensure accuracy of data
Investigating into queries / payment issues using various sources
Escalation of queries / client issues to manager where required
Keep accurate notes of conversations held with client / consultants
Set follow up dates for diary to review account as necessary

The successful candidate will have;

Previous Credit Control experience ideal
Ability to use own initiative and a proactive approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential and will be outgoing
Task focused and prioritise workload
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
Flexible approach, particularly during busy periods (e.g. month end)
A common sense approach to issues
Must be fast working and very accurate
Pay great attention to detail/take pride in own work
Must be eager to learn and show commitment to work
