Our client, a Management Consultancy, specialising in the Public Sector, is seeking to appoint a Research Analyst.You will determine the most appropriate, cost-effective, and timely research solutions, collecting, summarising, analysing, and synthesising relevant data and information.

Suitable candidates for the Research Analyst position must demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Relevant knowledge and understanding of the NHS, its structure and the wider health care environment. The right candidate must have genuine interest in issues around the provision and funding of health care as well as have demonstrated interest in developing deeper expertise in this area and overall intellectual curiosity.

• Have a good working knowledge of the NHS and wider health care information and statistical data sources, including an understanding of data integrity.

• The ability to help teams refine and focus their requests for health care analytical support, both by dis-aggregating requests into discrete issues and by applying knowledge of data sources and research methods.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as being able to multitask effectively.

• Be able to work in a team environment. Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they contribute to the success of others, as well as driving their own career, by taking the initiative to share work load with team members; and to begin coaching junior colleagues.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills able to communicate in a clear and well-structured manner with excellent listening skills.

• Have excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Analysts qualify for a discretionary performance-based bonus which last year ranged up to 25% of base salary. There is also an attractive benefits package including a contribution to pension fund equal to 12% of base salary plus bonus
