We have a nice double room with an en suite shower, toilet and basin available for the right person. The room is sunny and spacious (neutral colours) with a big built in wardrobe to boot but unfurnished.

The house a three-storey, four bedroomed place at the end of a terrace on a pretty residential street just off the Holloway Road. There is an another bathroom (with an actual bath) and a third toilet downstairs. The living room is large and open plan (we have two sofas, a tv, several bookshelves and a piano and it's still not cramped, the kitchen is bright and has all you'd need for cooking wizardry and there's a back garden with plenty of room for outdoor fun once the weather picks up. There is plenty of storage space: a shed outside for tools/tents/bikes/unicycles etc, a big attic for boxes and a shared cupboard on the second floor landing (as well as an airing cupboard for drying washing or climbing into if you fancy). All the fittings in the house are shiny and new and it's double-glazed and nice and warm. The room and house sells itself :D

Location wise the house is two mins from Holloway road (plenty of buses to central london, camden, islington and shoreditch), 15 mins walk from either Archway (northern line) or Holloway Road (piccadilly line) tube stations and 20 mins walk from Finsbury Park (piccadilly line)

Numbers time:

The rent is £550 per month, not including bills.
There's a £690 deposit which is completely refundable and there is a one off fee of £280 paid to the Estate Agents for reference fees and to get on the contract.

The current occupant of the room is moving out in preparation for some adventuring in India. The three us staying are all in our early twenties, one guy and two girls, all very liberal lefty creative chatty happy types. Likes include: playing music with varying degrees of talent (ranging from none to some), many many films, knitting, experimental cooking, doing new things, exploring london, random chats till the early hours, comedy, gigs, art and arty things, going out, staying in, random road trips (although we're still to overcome the barrier of not having a car or being able to drive), and so on. The house is a very social place and definately a 'home' rather than just somewhere to crash.

We are looking for someone who likes the sound of the description above and who thinks they would fit in and fast become one of the family :) who can move in asap.
