Graduate Hr Assistant
We’re looking for a recent grad who’s interested in a career in HR or who’s looking for an admin/support role. They will be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of all HR activity and deliver a support service to our Head of People.
Over time this person will be responsible for:
•Ensuring all administration is produced and processed accurately, efficiently and effectively
•Maintaining and updating the HR database and creating and running reports as requested
•Writing HR letters and issuing contracts
•Managing the new starter processes
•Ensuring leaver paperwork is complete
•Collating information for monthly payroll
•Monitoring and reporting on sickness and holiday absence
•Assisting with employee benefits
•Assisting with employee training requirements and keeping employee records up to-date
•Providing support with recruitment requirements and liaising with recruitment agencies and teams
•Participating in annual review process and any other HR related topics
•Supporting Head of People as required and any other ad hoc HR duties
Key Skills
•Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Self motivated, a ‘can-do’ attitude and lots of enthusiasm to learn
•Confident and outgoing, with a keen eye for detail
•Ability to liaise and build strong relationships with people at all levels
•Ability to work on own initiative and be pro-active
•Ability to prioritise
•Great organisational skills
•Excellent standard of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
£18 to £20K depending on experience plus benefits
