The Role

Ionic Information requires software developers for its award-winning ShareScope stock market analysis software. You will be working mainly in an MS windows environment but are required to be flexible in technology with web development a distinct possibility.

Core Skills
- A good Computer Science or AI degree (at least a 2.1)
- Strong software development and coding skills, using C/C++, MFC and Visual Studio 6.
- A passion for computers

Other Desirable Skills
- C/C++ Application development using Microsoft Visual Studio and either MFC, Win32 and Windows Forms.
- An understanding of data compression techniques
- An interest in the financial markets and financial calculation
- An interest in GUI design
- SQL, Java, JavaScript, Linux
- Good working knowledge of Windows development using MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) and Win32.
- HTTP, TCP/IP, sockets and network programming
