We have an SENCO vacacncy in a wonderful Indepdendent school in London.

The post is for a January 2010 start and is a full time until at least the end of the school year.

The school caters to the full age range (4 - 18) and you must have a formal teaching qualification and previous experience working with children with a variety of different Special Educational Needs. You must also have written IEPs and be familiar with the processes required for identifying SEN children.

Experience in supporting and training other staff on working with SEN would also be highly desirable.

Previous experience as a SENCO is ideal, but if you have been closely working with SEN children and have several years' teaching experience (with other management experience) then your application will also be considered.
