Chef de Rang London's exciting restaurant opening

Be part of London's most exciting restaurant opening of the year.

The historic Dean Street Townhouse has been brought back to life by the Soho House Group in a grand makeover and throws open its doors in November. The Townhouse will feature an all day dining room, with thirty-nine bedrooms above, serving breakfast from 7am (8am weekends) lunch, high tea and dinner, from a weekly changing menu of regional British fayre and will seat one hundred and thirty, at table, in the lounge and at the counter.

The restaurant is looking for Chef de Rang who have an excellent track record in hospitality and who thrive in a fast-paced restaurant service environment where the focus is on professionalism and accuracy. Candidates must possess in depth knowledge about Food and Beverage in addition to superior customer relations skills. Superior communication is essential as you will be required to build a rapport with guests.

Successful Chef de Rang will be able to demonstrate the following;

•Provide the highest levels of customer hospitality
•The ability to deal with customer requests and problems calmly and efficiently
•Provide exceptional levels of service, table maintenance and anticipation for every guest
•Good communication skillswith all colleagues
•Display high level of competence in all server skills
•To have a good understanding and working relationship with all the areas within the Restaurant
•Be available for staff meetings where necessary
•Commit to all in – house training and to provide training as requested
•Ensure that all health and safety training is strictly followed every shift
•Be safe and honest. Record all breakages.
•Ensure that uniform and personal presentation is of the highest standard at all times.
•The ability to be able to train and pass on knowledge to other employees
•Inform your headwaiter of any ideas for improvement you may have.
•Enjoy yourself.

Salary
We offer a starting salary of £9.50 per hour.
