this laptop cost nearly £1600 four months ago and it is still in immaculate condition.
it has an intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz processor, 3gb ddr3 ram, 300gb sata hard drive, nvidia 8600GT-m graphics and intel hypermemory (512mb dedicated graphics). dolby home theater sound, genuine vista home premium with all original asus recovery and driver cd's, 17" screen with a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, hdmi output for connecting to your hd ready tv, lightscribe cd/dvd writer and hd-dvd/blu-ray player. comes with asus branded logitech optical gaming mouse (has extra programmable buttons). has an lcd display next to the keyboard that displays anything from the time to whatever text you want it to or system messages such as battery meter or msn messenger alerts. dedicated windows media center buttons. bulit in 1.3mega-pixel webcam that is not only used for internet but also face recognition which can be used to log on instead of passwords etc. all comes in an asus rucksack to keep everything safe, which is also in immaculate condition. all original documentation is in the bag, including guarantee etc. £900 is an absolute bargain for this laptop. it has loads of decent software on it like office 2007 and nero 8 and also a cd-labelling application which is brilliant. there's is a couple games installed such as doom 3 and flatout 2, which i will leave on here and provide the cd's for.
