We have an exciting opportunity to join the firm’s new Governance, Risk and Compliance services department in their London office for an experienced Internal Audit Senior. The role will consist of working with the Director and Manager whilst being supported from other sectors within the firm.
The main function of the role is to lead and perform multiple Governance, Risk and Compliance assignments covering Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance.
Responsibilities will include:
-Deliver assignments on a portfolio of clients.
-Focus on the quality of delivery and development of client relationships.
-Ensure all assignments meet agreed budgets.
-Generate ideas to further enhance assignment profitability.
-Help identify and develop potential sales opportunities.
-Promote the effective and timely sharing of knowledge.
-Help develop new services/products.
-Document and follow sound internal risk management procedures.
To be considered you will need:
- Financial qualification such as ACA or ACCA
- Similar internal audit experience in a major accountancy practice and/or commercial business.
- A well-defined technical knowledge in audit, risk and control areas and use of audit and risk-based technologies and tools
- Exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong team and people skills
- Good multi-tasking skills with proven experience of performing a diverse portfolio of activities
- Sound sales, presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Good presentation skills
In return you will receive on-going technical training and updates, support with development of ‘soft’ personal and management skills, have input into establishing new services/products and involvement in a range of sales and marketing activities. There will also be an opportunity for future progression to Manager should you so desire
