Language school is looking for 1-2 chatting teacher(s) for English communication courses.

The school works with a special teaching method, we give 2 teachers for 1 course: a grammar teacher explains the English grammar in the students’ language, then a chatting teacher gets them practise the real communication.

NOW WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENGLISH CHATTING TEACHER(S)

Students already have another teacher who explains them the English grammar in their language, so you WON’T explain grammar, your job will be to get students chat, talk, speak, communicate in English.

Must have:
-immaculate English (natives ONLY)
-CLEAR pronunciation
-active, dynamic, positive, bubbly personality
-the ability to get people speak
-the ability to talk about anything anytime with anybody
-the ability to follow instructions, keep and maintain the school’s special teaching method
-NO other language is required (your job will be to speak English only)
-student oriented behaviour
-must be ready to learn new teaching methods

In the beginning you will have 2 lesson a week (Monday and Wednesday OR Wednesday and Thursday 7-9pm) to see if the job fits you, but if you like it and students like you too, later you can get much more lessons.

Our lessons are mainly in the evenings (7-9pm) and at the weekends.

School is based close to Seven Sisters tube station.

Teaching qualification is not necessary (no university trains “chatting teachers”) but if you have some is an advantage, as a proof of your interest in teaching English as a foreign language.

You will be paid by hours:

in the first 1-3 months: £15 / hour
from the 4th months: £18 / hour
if you are the teacher of the months (students vote): £22 / hour (in that particular months)

So, all in all, your job will be to talk talk talk and if you do only Mon and Wed or Wed and Thu evenings, that is £60 / week as a start up.
