Are you a history undergraduate student and homeless? Are you also single and living away from your parents?

This year so many students all over the UK have been suffering from the financial stress since the Student Loans Company has not passed on their maintenance loans into their bank accounts yet.

If your accommodation and living costs are depending on this loan, and your course has already begun, try not to stress out yet.

How would you like to join a group of other students in the same situation as yourself to make a joint approach to funds agencies, our local banks, student bursary offices for a three year grant to help us pay for a student house.

I am a student of history studies myself and would like to volunteer to manage this project. I'm sure we can write some good proposals for the bank and cultural funds agencies who have often sponsored activities that have a purpose and goal. We might even create affiliations with organizations like museums and publishing companies that fund literature and culture-related activities, this could help us build our way towards our future careers as well. Also, living in a house full of history students might be a good idea, we could turn a room into a library/study with printing facilities etc. And joint visits to history related events.

Mail me if you're interested since I have many more ideas as to how we can make more of this project. But please write back and let me know if you'll be able to help in writing a serious proposal for funds. We could make a presentation together at the bank for instance, for which we can prepare for once we have met etc.
