Architect Research Internship
Term: 3 - 6 months

Photovoltaics International, the leading journal designed specifically for the PV supply chain is offering a unique internship opportunity for someone with knowledge of the architectural industry to help with research for its latest sustainable building media project. The successful candidate will have exposure to all elements of the Build and Design industries for integrating solar power into new buildings. The role will provide key experience and networking with global architectural and development organisations.
Working alongside the director, your role will be focused on research into an up-coming area of technology that focuses on both the photovoltaics industry and the architectural industry. We require someone with knowledge of the construction industry, although this can be at a basic level. The applicant will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to expand on existing knowledge and keen to gain experience in the workplace.
Skills required include:
Basic knowledge of the construction industry
Research skills
The successful candidate will:
Be passionate about sustainable building practices and renewable energy generation
Be confident and persuasive both on the phone and in person
Be adaptable
Have qualifications based around the architectural industry
Although this is an unpaid internship, we are hoping to create a permanent position in 3-6 months should we find a suitable candidate.
