Sports Marketing & Administration Internships
2 x Voluntary work experience positions - Sports Marketing & Administration
Location: Shepherd's Bush, London
Hours: 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday (3 to 5 days per week)
3 to 6 months internship
Let Me Play is a specialist sports camp & tour organisation that also provides coaching and teaching programmes in and around London, sponsorship deals for some of the UK's best tennis players and coaches and government projects to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We are looking to recruit a special person that would be able to help manage all aspects of a small but rapidly growing company. The role will primarily admin and general support but with the flexibility to help across all areas of the company.
Responsibilities will include:
General support to our Sports Coordinator, Marketing Executive and the 2 Directors.
General administration and filing.
Answering telephone queries from interested parents and young people and closing sales.
Promoting Let Me Play sports camps and after school and holiday programs in local schools and leisure centres. Encouraging parents, children and teachers to get active and participate in Let Me Play activities.
General office management.
Research tasks.
Assisting with Let Me Play events; ensuring events run smoothly and children and parents are aware of all timeframes, responsibilities and rules.
Liaising with outside tour leaders and ticket personnel to ensure event runs smoothly and is successful for all concerned.
Answering the telephone in a professional and friendly manner and assisting callers with queries and taking messages as and when required.
Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
The person:
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised
Ultra-efficient
Works well under pressure
Excellent spelling and grammar
Computer literate (Word, Exel, Powerpoint)
A team player
A keen interest and an enthusiasm for sport
