Our client, a London based Charity, requires a Press officer to join their busy Press team in a permanent capacity.

The purpose of the role is to support the Media and External relations Manager in running an effective media and external relations plan and to help with internal communications work where required. The Press officer will be required to draft and write press releases and other copy for a range of media, working with external writers and editors where necessary.

This role will suit a candidate who can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills. The candidate must be able to deal with the media proactively and responsively and finally work effectively with information management technology including website content management systems.
