y client, A leading international bank based in the heart of the city, has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their London management team.

Offered on a three month basis the chosen Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial & management accounting, regulatory reporting, tax & VAT and head office reporting for three separate business areas to include two international branches and their UK investment business arm.

Accountabilities will include:
Monthly Financial and statutory accounts, Monthly Management accounting
Quarterly Regulatory Reporting (including capital adequacy monitoring), VAT Returns
Corporation Tax Computation, Quarterly Head Office Reporting (for Japanese and US GAAP, BIS)
Ad hoc reporting as requested by Head Office, local management.

International Branch reporting will include:
Financial & Management Reporting from the London general ledger.
Head Office Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Reconciliation of general ledger to local Regulatory Reporting system.

The ideal Senior Business Analyst will be a fully qualified accountant with experience gained in a similar role. You will have a good understanding of Financial Accounting systems (Sun Accounts & Vision experience essential), will have prepared UK statutory accounts (including disclosure notes) of a UK financial institution. Regulatory Reporting experience for a fund manager (desirable).
