The Community Advice and Support Scheme is a registered charity currently running a befriending and practical support project to help the elderly and the disabled in North London. We are looking for individuals who are able to volunteer a couple of hours every week to support our service users to tend their gardens, decorate their rooms, help to move furniture and help with shopping. We are also looking for people with good interpersonal skills who will be interested in befriending our service users supporting them to deal with their correspondences, escorting them on trips and helping with light house chores.
