Head of E- Communications

This health government body is looking for a competent candidate to manage and develop the content of the DH corporate site through effective management of key suppliers and by building effective and constructive relationships with key stakeholders.



Your main role will include:

· Promoting the website as one of the Department's primary strategic communications tools.

· To account manage specific key areas of the website, identifying priority areas for content clean-up and managing the development of content within these areas.

· To network and build good working relationships with key internal stakeholders across the organisation including policy teams and communication colleagues to ensure their business and content needs are adequately reflected

· To provide advice and guidance to internal content owners on all aspects of online publishing requirements including editorial, usability, accessibility, best practice

· To support the Online Communications Manager in developing the ongoing content strategy for the corporate site including editorial standards and publishing protocols

· To support the Online Communication Manager in the development and delivery of additional new digital services and interactive features for communications, including digital television, SMS services, blogs and webchats, and evaluating their impact.



The right candidate will have experience in:

· Significant experience in e-commerce

· Good writing skills and project management/account management

· Government of public sector experience

· Good digital awareness
