A highly successful PR company based in Central London, specialists in communications for the financial services and media sectors, immediately requires an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary to permanent assignment.
Working within a motivated finance team, you will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, from matching, batching and coding invoices, doing bank and supplier statement reconciliations, dealing with supplier queries to completing BACs and manual payment runs. This role will involve dealing with a high volume of invoices and you will be actively reporting into the Finance Director as to the status of the ledger.
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist, ideally with previous experience within the PR, media or retail sectors. You will have proven bank and supplier statement reconciliations experience and be very capable of dealing with a high volume of invoices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential in this role, as you will have very regular contact both with suppliers but also internal customers.
