Our client, a council based on the North London / Hertfordshire Border, is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Programme Director to work within its current BSF initiative.

Applicants will have overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the BSF programme and will have dealt with a multi million pound capital programme and major procurement process.

Your background in BSF Programme delivery will include a strong commitment to the successful delivery of BSF projects. You will also be responsible for decisions on capital investment and working with partners in the delivery of services. In addition you may be required to lead on other Education Capital programmes and linked works.

A successful track record of leadership at a senior level, preferably within local government/education is desired, with an extensive background in managing and delivering complex projects/programmes, strategic development and significant budget management of large capital and revenue resources.

You will have met and dealt with a number of varied stakeholders as well as a number of external agencies in order to get past BSF projects finished on time and to budget.
