Engine looks like new under the cover & only had light fresh water use on the river Trent before i bought it. Its only seen salt water about 4 times over this summer. It starts first time, very economical, sounds great, no choke to mess with, just turn the key (this is the ultra low emissions model, engine is made by Yamaha for mercury/mariner).There are a few small cosmetic marks on cover, & bit of flaking paint on bottom of leg. The boat/engine is presently on its trailer in Portland, I will be in Portland Thur pm till Fri dinner 16/10/09 to bring it back to the Midlands. Anyone wanting to see it running in Portland is welcome to meet up. THERE IS A GENUINE REASON FOR SALE, we now own a riverside property with mooring on the river Nene & engine is being downsized to 10hp. Sale is for the engine, spare prop, cables, remote with built in warning sounder, rev counter, trim guage, wiring harnesses, operation/maintenance manual. The fuel tank is fixed & stopping on boat along with battery & steering cable ready for smaller engine, but i do have the link arm for "through pivot" steering. I will leave the engine on boat until it is sold as its easy to run up & i might consider delivering engine on boat depending on distance & fuel costs being covered.
