Polish Translator
Fixed term contract (15-20 weeks)
WC1 – on a £17K per annum basis

We are a fast growing, very successful on-line travel company based in Holborn. Due to the expansion of our web site, we now have opportunities for a Polish translator. You will be working as part of our content team in our dynamic E-commerce department translating the website.
The main responsibilities will be:
• Translating lengthy website copy i.e. hostel descriptions
• Ensuring that the content on the website is accurate and of high quality as well as linguistically correct
• Working with SEO to optimise translations

The right candidate will have:
• Fluency in Polish
• Proven experience in translating and editing lengthy copy in Polish
• Experience or a qualification in marketing
• The ability to get on with the job independently and with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• The ability to multi-task
• High levels of written and spoken English
• Experience in using Microsoft Office and the Internet

Qualifications:
• Languages degree
• English qualification or course from English college/university

Personal Qualities:
• Commitment to excellence and detail
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication (particularly written)
• Interest in travel
