Our family is seeking an experienced, warm and active nanny to join us in a move from London to Dubai. The position in Dubai would be live-in. Our expectation would be that you would stay with us during this temporary assignment for a period of 1-2 years (potentially longer back in London or in the US). Initially, the responsibilities will be focused on our two year old daughter. Later (January), the responsibilities will be expanded to include a newborn baby.

A successful candidate will: speak fluent english and possibly a second language; have a drivers license and some driving experience; have an "adventurous spirit" and enjoy to travel; know how to swim and have a curiosity for new cultures.

As part of your package, you will have your own room and bathroom in a substantial villa. You will receive 4 weeks annual leave. Annually, you will receive an airplane ticket back to the UK or to any other destination with a similar ticket price. Besides all of your lodging and food expenses, we would expect to pay you a monthly salary of around $1500 net of tax, and may consider some additional bonus depending on performance. However, the specifics will depend on the individual case.

You will have a Dubai contract and we will pay for all expenses related to getting you a valid work visa. Finally, we will make sure you are covered by health insurance in case your current situation does not cover you.

We expect to leave London in November of this year, and, ideally, we would like you to spend 1-2 weeks with our family in the UK as a trial prior to coming to a mutual agreement on continuing the relationship.
