I am planning a fantastic trip around Eastern Europe starting on May 1st 2009 for three months. We will travel through thirteen countries starting in Estonia and visiting Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and finishing back in Estonia.

Above is the route I would like to take but It is not set in stone, I have not planned anything else as I enjoy letting the road lead the way rather than having a detailed, day to day itinerary.

I’m looking for somebody who is passionate like me about the idea of this trip and is willing to meet up to talk and plan it. Three months is a long time to be travelling around this region so you must be passionate about it and really want to make it a great adventure. A trip is what you make it!

I would also love to hear from anybody who has already travelled around this area and have some advice on things to do and places to visit. I don’t want to spend all of my time in cities, I want to get out into the heart of the countries and see the real eastern Europe so advice will be very welcome.
